Company Info
Worthley’s
Home Appliance began as Dugan’s Appliance over 40 years ago in
1963. Mr. Virgil Dugan served the appliance needs of Tomball for
nearly 20 years before selling the business to Gary Worthley in
1980. Under Mr. Worthley’s ownership, the store was renamed
Worthley’s TV and Appliance and continued to meet the needs of
Tomball and the surrounding area. In 2005, the store once again
changed hands when ownership was transferred to long time friend
and store manager Eric Lunsford. The name was changed to
Worthley’s Home Appliance, since they no longer sold televisions,
choosing to focus on appliances.
A lot has
changed since Mr. Dugan opened his doors all those years ago. The
community has grown, however, the commitment to personal service
has remained a tradition at Worthley’s.
